A.B.C is a 501(c) (3), non-profit organization dedicated to changing the lives of youth through the collaboration of sports and education.
A.B.C is a community based initiative, designed to develop our children and young adults mentally, physically, and spiritually. Our programs combine educational and recreational activities, which provide positive alternatives to gangs, substance abuse, teen pregnancy and other issue that plague our society.
A.B.C uses basketball to promote self discipline, leadership, integrity, self-esteem, work ethic, teamwork and sportsmanship. Based on a Christian value system, our program focuses on empowering and encouraging our youth.
Our main objective is player development. We will help players pursue their goals of obtaining scholarships to college and beyond by first focusing on the mind. We will preach self discipline, mental toughness and leadership; while also trying to develop self confidence. While also teaching the fundamentals of the game, we will instill the proper principals into each player, allowing them to perform at a higher level on the court as well as in life...
An orgnization called the Young lions was started in 2000 and they took the a.a.u world by storm coaching and producing some of the top talent in Wisconsin... The program was founded by Terry Bennett and Supervisor James White... From 2000 to 2004 the Young Lions won a considerable amount of tournaments at various age levels. In 2005 Terry Bennett went out on his own and decided to change the Young Lions to the A.B.C Knights this time he added girls teams and there were once again dominating at all levels. The Knights continued to achieve and proved consistent in it's production of talent helping numerous players get to college...
